All the different projects which this Virtual Hub contains are meant to be carried out with students who are , at least, studying 4th ESO and are mature enough to grasp the meaning of the content. Many have been thought of and designed having Batxillerat students in mind. Anyway, we should keep in mind that the different projects will convey maturity to the students through reflection and discussion.

eLearning

Once you dive into the different projects, you will realize they all require using IT - information technolgy - devices: sometimes you will need some computers for the students to work in teams ; some other times you will need a beamer for the students to make presentations of their work; some others students may want to use their mobile devices...All in all, it entails using eLearning and mLearning !

team work

The different sections of this Hub contain different projects related to different subjects, but they all need the students to work in teams once in class. We leave the personal reflection upon the issue when the students are at home on their own. Cooperation is essential so as to solve all the problems posed by this hub, but it is also a must in the kind of world we live in.

respect

We want the students to reflect and discuss on different issues which affect the whole world. So, we want them to grow in respect and tolerance towards others' opinion and viewpoints. They need to understand that, by respecting the others, we can build a fairer world in which everybody has a voice.

In the end,... deep down, .. . the whole aim of this project is to make them understand that they can achieve their aims only through effort : if they carry out the activities making an effort so as to do it even better the next day, their English will improve a lot; but , above all, their knowledge on the issues of the world and the understanding of how thing work will also improve . In the end, only if we all make an effort, we can make the whole world better!

The same solutions to the same, old problems? Never! This project requires creativity, imagination, being bold and daring... Only in this way we can get to give an appropriate answer to the problems which we cannot solve yet.

AND HOW?, you may be wondering... You can use different tools depending on the purpose. Yet, I suggest some. They are free and available through Internet.
